"True" visit to NHP

Wew!!! Early dismissal from RV. I took MRT from Commonwealth to Clementi, then took Bus no. 99 to skool. So exciting, meeting my group of "sisters"!!!!!!!! Firstly, saw YL and WY. Go "book" a table to play later. But later, some little P5 'n' 6 pupils wanted to "challenge" me. I didn't believe tat they know I'm from school team. But the question is, how did they recognise me???? Never mind. I went around to "visit" my sisters. Wing Lam, Jovina, Yi Rong, Yi Le. And 2 now-P6 new sisters. Elyssa and Min yi. I didn't expect that all of my sisters very 热烈欢迎 me. Then, after their recess, I saw Kenneth, wearing Hwa Chong uniform. He's small, and soooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!! Then I saw Janice Yeo in NYGH uniform, and ridiculous thing. Selina still wear Nan Hua Primary uniform. Wonder why. Then some gigantic Sec 2 Hwa Chong boys came to play table tennis. And I was asked to challenge them. Starting with Yi Rong's brother. We play the 5 set 3 win style match. As expected, he won the first match. Then, I thought of the fact that he use 中胶, so I did some attacking and spin the ball, and through the first set, I noticed that he always chops, like a chopper. I learnt to endure and even, block most of his smashes or just attack him back. In the end, I won him 3-2. Then, they became quite scared of me. Don't know why leh. Then I fought wif him again, this time, won 3-1. Again, but lost 1-3. Better than 0 lah hor. Ah, then, very funny. I was excited to hear there was training, that I forget to eat lunch lor. Then, about 3/4 of training finished, I started to feel like vomiting and very dizzy. I didn't perform well, lost to Nicholas Teo 2-3.
BUt, still an exciting day. I'm visiting them on Saturday again (next), for training!!!!!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

What!? The West Zone competition's, 6 Feb, just immediately the week after Chinese New Year? And, we were not even notified!!! Never mind lah lah lah!!!!!!!! Don't tink so much. Be a normal happy person, that's all. So maybe, Just maintain and improve my ability loh!!!

Aiyah!!!! I'm so unlucky!!! It's so painful. This happened before my Friday table tennis training. After talking to Felicia (she borrowed my worksheet to photocopy), I was approaching to eat lunch. I didn't see the bump on the ground, so I tripped and fell. I had: 2 cuts on my leg, blue-black on my left palm, and worst of all, some bruises and cuts, wif blood, on my right arm. Soooo painful!!!!!! I'd never dare da run like tat again!!!! Owwwww!!!!!

Sweet Victory and the CCA Recruitment Day

Ok. Now. Today'z da CCA Recruitment Day. I went back, status: ex-team captain. I helped teachers to like, "advertise" and convincing students to sign up for table-tennis. I became the teacher's "small assistant". And Mr Lim displayed the different types of bats, Long hand, short hand (China China one) and the short hand (Japanese). As well, az the different rubbers. Namely, The normal rubber (smooth), normal rubber (speed), normal rubber (anti-spin), short pimples (短胶), medium pimples (中胶), and finally, my type, long pimples (长胶). At long pimples, they also wrote "banned", due to the fact that when long pimples is used, the speed will be too high for a young, primary school student. That's why using of this chang2 jiao1, starts at secondary schools. And, I saw that, Mr Lim arranges, tie-up training programmes with STTA, Sun Sports Club and Singapore Sports School. The SSS training will be for truly advanced powerful players, while STTA, as well as Sun Sports Club, just to develop those school team players, I think (not 100% sure). Then, if P1s and 2s wanna sign up, Mr Lim arranged with da Clementi Sports Complex, to train 'em and till P3, before joining the school team. I saw quite a few P1s want to sign up. No matter boy or girl, SO CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!! One of them, is my old classmate's brother. That guy's called Jia Jun. He also in RV, just different classes.
At last, I saw Yi Rong. I missed her a lot, you know??? And, Mr Sim noticed that I improved aaaaa lot. I managed to attack whatever balls my opponent served to me. I'm capable of attacking, chopping and blocking even the lowest kinda balls. Whenever I'm truly stable, I prepare the triangle formation (I mean 3-ball procedure) and attack at the 3rd ball. If not so well-prepared, I opt for the pentagon formation (5-ball procedure), by chopping or blocking the ball, before the 5th ball, when I attack. And, Mr Sim told me that I Today, I finally tasted truly sweet victory. I won all of ma opponents today, including 2, who I really desired to win. Gotta maintain this kind of ability!!!!!

Although it's just the start of 中一, I made new friendz. Han Ni, from Shuqun Primary, and plays netball. She also got admitted through DSA. Venus, from Concorde Primary, she got in through DSA by Maths. WOW!!!! Last year, She's got offers from NUS High as well!!!!!! Amazing!!! Qian Hui, from Bukit Panjang Primary, same tuition class as me last year. Then, Min Ni (not Minnie Mouse), Rulang Primary. Cheryl, from I forgot what skool. And as well as Joanna, also forgot from which School. Fun and happy life with them!! But I'll not forget my new table tennis teammates and my old mates. So happy!!!!

My Primary School TT Teammates. They told me about school. Well. Wing Lam 'n' Jovina are in 6E. Yi Rong, with Yi Le, are posted to 5F. Form Teacher: Mrs Kheng. I tink that with Mrs Kheng helping, Yi Rong 'n' Yi Le will definitely top their class, or even defeat 5G, in terms of academic. Siying, and Nicholas (Tan), posted to 5C, I think it is best EM2. Then, Zihui, in 5E. In the 2006 P5 girls, only Siying does not offer Higher Chinese. Well, wish them all the best!!!

First day at River Valley High School

5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!! School reopens!! I'm no longer at Nan Hua Primary, but I'm spending my new 4-year Secondary School life at RV. As you know, RV now offers the Integrated Programme, which means, I'll spend JC life here as well, unless can transfer lah. The first day was a fun and great one. At first, we had flag-raising. Then, I went to my new classroom. Something about the classrooms is that only the last classroom of each storey has a door. The others are door-less. So pitiful!! And just outside the classroom is the Computer Lab. So convenient!! Then, my form teacher is Mr Teo (same surname as me), a young PE teacher. We were then asked to introduce ourselves. As it goes on, I suddenly saw Jia Rong, who was supposed to go to NHSS. I didn't know that she appealed for a place. After that, we went for recess, before learning the school song. The School Song was quite easy to memorise, although some new words appeared. Ah, we went for a school tour after that. I did not realize that the school was about 2.5 times the size of my imagination!!!!! Sec 4s, so good! They have air-con classrooms!! Sec 2 and 3s, I think the "old-looking types" of classrooms. Finally, we were briefed on school rules and so on. We also learnt different cheers and I discovered that some were used in last year's camp. After all, it's reaaally fun!!!! I'd never ever regret choosing here!!!!!
